In answer to this often asked question, it is actually much easier than you might think. With everything in life, what you do is not as important as whom you are serving while doing it. In Colossians, 3:23 God’s Word tells us to work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than people. We are also told in I Peter 4:10 that each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. We’ve all been given gifts and talents. Some people use their mechanical skills to fix someone’s vehicle, while others may use their baking abilities to bring a neighbor a meal. Others may use their gift of music to lift up beautiful songs of praise. The Lord, not Martial Arts, is our God whom we are serving by using the gifts and talents He’s given us in the form of Martial Arts.
What are the gifts and talents you’ve been given? When is the last time you’ve used them to share the love and truth of Christ with others?
