Jewish people believe there are five stages of a person’s life in fulfilling God’s purpose and plan for your life. Which stage are you in?
Several years ago, I was chatting with my best friend and accountability partner. He was telling that Jews believe that there are five stages to a man’s (person’s) life. He said that to fulfill Gods perfect plan for your life you must enter each stage. You can get stuck in a stage if you are not willing to move or grow into each of these stages.
The five main stages are:

As I was thinking and meditating on each stage God started to talk to me about each stage. He showed me there are stages inside of the five main stages also, what they are, and the importance of embracing and learning from each stage.
The first stage is Child (boy or girl). I got saved when I was 33 years old after having a life changing encounter with the Lord. I was living with my girlfriend for about a year. She said she needed to go to church and that she was being convicted about being backslidden. With having grown up in church but not having a relationship with God I said, “Ok I will go with you” but was thinking it would be the same old, same old church experience from before. I have even got the t-shirt, LOL! So, we went to a non-denominational church in Joplin, MO called Central Christian Church. I remember coming into the sanctuary and during praise and worship that everyone had their hands up singing and praising God. I had never seen anything like this, and I thought they were all crazy!
Well, the Pastor gets up and starts preaching. And as he is preaching, he held up a Bible and said this is a blue book for your life. It has all the answers to life’s problems in it. At that very moment I felt like the Holy Spirit hit me with a spiritual frying pan. I realized I HAD to have Jesus in my life. At that moment I went down to the altar and accepted Jesus in my life.
After I got saved that Sunday, I had a great hunger to know God more. I wanted to know all that was in that Bible. I craved the spiritual milk of God. 1 Peter says, “as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.” I believe this what it means to enter the 1st stage of being a child and learning more.
