The team's energetic presentation captures and keeps the attention of all, and the message they deliver is truly motivational and inspiring. We have worked with the team at area school assemblies, church block parties and apartment complex outreach events; we also offer karate lessons to children during our summer programs. The results are always the same: children learn AND remember the principles the team teaches, but most importantly, many, many children have come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. At my school, the students always look forward to when Brian Bryan comes with his "Combat Team!" As a Principal, I also enjoy it, mainly because of the message that Brian Bryan brings with him. While many people see or portray martial arts in a negative light. Brian teaches students that Karate is not for the purpose of beating up on or hurting people; instead, he teaches my students the true purpose of martial arts, which is learning self-control and self-defense. Brian's students are always courteous when they visit my school, and they do indeed demonstrate self-control, skill, respect, and godliness whenever they visit. The Combat Team students are highly skilled for such a young age. It is thrilling to watch them perform! In everything Brian and his students do, they do it with reverence to God and in a spirit of excellence!

In 2000 I met a man at church named Brian Bryan. Over time we became friends and before year was out God used him to speak into my life concerning the launch of Kids for Christ USA: A ministry that assist parents and students across the USA in planting and facilitating before/after school Bible Clubs in the PUBLIC schools.
Over the nine years of Kids for Christ USA Brian and The Combat Team have been a significant part of KFCUSA. I never have to be concerned about Brian being on time to a school and he has NEVER “gone long” even one time. To me that is important because we have to get kids to class on time. Every time Brian’s team ministers the kids are captivated, and many give their lives to Christ.
Brian is a man of impeccable character and I am honored to work with him in ministry, but I am even more honored to call him my friend.

As the Children's Pastor for Victory Christian Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, I have to be very careful about the type of ministries we book for special meetings. We were extremely pleased with Brian Bryan and the Combat Team when they ministered at our Word Explosion event in August of 2009. Their karate demonstrations kept the children on the edges of their seats, begging for more! Everything they did was a powerful, viusual illustration of the Word of God.
